2020 marks the 30th Anniversary of Alice In Chains 'Facelift'. In celebration the band's debut studio album, which features 'Man In The Box' and 'Sea of Sorrow', it will see a remastered vinyl re-issue. Not only did the album introduce the world to the talents of Layne Staley, Jerry Cantrell, Sean Kinney, and Mike Starr, it was also a pivotal album in the rise of the Seattle / grunge sound of the early-mid 1990's. It was the first album of the grunge movement to receive Gold accreditation in the US. It has since sold over 2 million copies globally. Alice In Chains are often credited as paving the way for bands such as Soundgarden, Pearl Jam, Screaming Trees and Mudhoney.
